Arch Echo is the brainchild of five musicians who wish to push the envelope of modern music.  Our goal is to create music that is not only complex, but accessible to the listener, delivered with passion and enthusiasm.

About the Members

  Joey Izzo  has garnered an increasing online presence as a keyboardist in the progressive rock and metal genres. He has previously played keyboards for Zombie Frogs, Sound Struggle, Daydream XI and most recently John Carpenter formerly of the Contortionist. He composes with Joe Caldrone in Tangent Music and has had his compositions on NBC, FOX and TBS. He is also a producer mix engineer and educator.

  Adam Rafowitz  is an up and coming guitarist in the progressive and fusion community. In 2015, Adam gained notoriety in the music community after winning the first Strandberg Guitarworks competition. Currently, he has been honing his craft, and educating guitar students interested in his use of legato in improvisation, tapping, hybrid picking and beyond. Adam has also performed on several albums, and, more recently, he performed a guest solo on David Maxim Micic’s release, “Who Bit the Moon”.   “ Talk about fresh, energetic and exciting music, you have to experience Adam Rafowitz’s guitar playing. His solo project, “Absently”, has gained much acclaim due to the excellent musicianship and production involved. He now works full time as a mix engineer and producer, and his mixing tutorials have been widely viewed by aspiring producers.

  Richie Martinez , having been raised in a music-saturated home, has been diligently developing his craft since the commencement of a now two-decade journey. As a musician, he’s performed a profusion of genres and locations; from Hip Hop concerts in the mid-west to Hard Rock shows in Central America. Recording sessions have been an addition to his career, being featured on an array of artists’ projects, as his discography continues to enrich. Though not all performers have an attraction to the world of music education, Richie holds to the philosophy of preparing talents for success by sharing in the experience, and knowledge gained through years of dedicated practice, persistence, and a desire for greatness. With a teaching approach that holds high the importance of technique, conceptualization, creativity, effective practice, and the enjoyment of playing music, Richie Martinez will plant a seed of interest in those hungry to learn, and will work to cultivate fruitful minds. Richie proudly endorsed Mapex Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Drumdots, Promark Stick, Evans Drumheads, and 64 Audio.
